On 17th October, 2026 - Bathukamma celebrations took place in a visually splendid manner at the Municipal Ground in Amberpet. Participating in these festivities brought immense joy. Amid the traditional dappu drum beats, artists' formations, cultural programs, and women's kolatam dances, the Bathukamma celebrations unfolded magnificently.
A magnificent 72-feet-tall Bathukamma, the largest in the country, crafted with a variety of flowers by the DEWI Organisation, was a special highlight of the celebrations.
The Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, Shri Shiv Prathap Shukla lauded Bathukamma as a symbol of Nari Shakti and social awareness.
