Day 1 of the 1st Tourism Working Group meeting began with a side event on "Rural Tourism for Community and Poverty" at Rann of Kutch, Gujarat, today. I attended and delivered the keynote address at the event, which highlighted India's focus on achieving the SDGs through tourism. Further spoke about Tourism Department's efforts to promote rural tourism in the country and develop a draft of a National Strategy and Roadmap for Rural Tourism to further the vision of Hon'ble PM Sri Narendra Modi to create Atma Nirbhar Bharat. Witnessed the vibrant folk dance & traditional performances at the cultural evening organized for the #G20 delegates, along with Hon'ble CM Gujarat Sh Bhupendra Patel & Hon. Union Minister Sh Parshottam Rupala at the Rann of Kutch.

At the Arts Cluster on the sidelines of 1st Tourism Working Group Meeting of #G20 at Rann of Kutch, was happy to visit the Traditional Rogan Art stall of Padma Shri Abdul Gafur D Khatri at the Arts Cluster.

वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्’ - One Earth, One Family, One Future. The largest mirror sentence installation of the motto ‘वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्’ by Gujarat Tourism established Guinness World Record at The White Raan of Kutch, Dhordo, Gujarat during the G20 TWG summit. .

Addressed the inaugural session of the 1st Tourism Working Group Meeting of #G20 at Rann of Kutch, this morning. During this meeting (8-2-2023), members of all the G20 India Nations, Invitee Nations & Members from International Organisations shared their valuable insights on the theme.
