On the occasion of the #InternationalDayOfYoga2023-Participated in a ‘Yoga Session’ on the occasion of The International Day of Yoga along with the esteemed Delegates & Hon’ble Ministers of #G20 countries at The Raj Bhawan in Goa.

Attended the thematic event on "Public-Private Dialogue: Importance of Travel and Tourism to the G20 Economies", co-organised by @tourismgoi, @UNWTO, and @WWTChampionship on the sidelines of the 4th #G20 #TWG Meeting in Goa. Deliberations at the events observed the private sector's perspective on the five priority tourism areas set out for the G20 to strengthen mutual support and a greater public-private partnership.

Addressed the inaugural session of the #G20 4th Toursim Working Group and Ministers Meeting in Goa. Highlighted the richness of the spiritual and cultural heritage of India, and how Narendramodi Government is prioritising them since 2014. Spoke about the endeavours of the GoI to develop tourist destinations, sustainable tourist infrastructure, and raising awareness among tourists for a responsible lifestyle through programmes like SWADESH Darshan and Mission LiFE.

Had a good meeting with Ms. Julia Simpson, CEO & President of the World Travel & Tourism Council (@WTTC), on the sidelines of the 4th #G20 #TWG & Ministers Meeting in Goa. Discussed the scope & areas for public-private collaboration to promote India's tourism sector.

Held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Tourism of South Africa, Ms. Patricia De Lille on the sidelines of the 4th #G20 #TWG Meeting in Goa. Deliberated ways to leverage the tourism sector to foster new partnerships and to further strengthen ties between both countries.

Had an engaging interaction with the members of the Yuva Tourism Clubs, on the sidelines of the4th #G20 #TWG Meeting in Goa. Appreciate their zeal to learn about local tourism, culture & local heritage. These young ambassadors would play a vital role in promoting tourism among children and youth.
